Patch 0.1.1


Hello all! Just a smaller patch with a few balance tweaks and bug fixes.
Got some great feedback on the first release! This patch is meant to address the most common pain points.

  • Gameplay
    • Added invincibility frames to the player "Hurt" animation. Instant death to a group of bunched-up enemies should be much less likely to happen
  • Upgrades
    • Updated all upgrade descriptions with percentages and flat values displayed
    • Fixed an oversight where Reinforced Hull was granting only 25 health instead of 250
    • Changed Shot Spread to decrease individual projectile damage instead of using more ammo
      • Spread is now tightened for all turrets
    • Missile Launcher now grants 15% chance per shot instead of 10%
    • Advanced Propellant now grants a 35% speed bonus to projectiles instead of adding a flat 500 velocity
    • Mule Kick damage reduced to 20% from 25%
    • Extended Mag damage for non-ammo turrets increased to 20% from 10%
  • Parts
    • Crybaby MK. 4
      • Increased rate of fire to 600 from 375 rpm
      • Decreased reload time to 1.75s from 2.0s
    • Handshaker
      • Increased pellet count to 6 from 4
      • Increased pellet damage to 45 from 30
  • Audio
    • Rebalanced some audio cues to be easier to hear
  • UI
    • Updated objective marker art and animation to be easier to see
    • Added a "RELOADING" indicator to ammo UI when reloading
    • Moved HP and Boost meters up for better gameplay clarity
